How to remove DRM from iTunes purchased Movies and Rentals
ITunes is not the only way to get to HD movies, but it is a good and convenient way. With iPhone, iPod, iPad and Mac, videos being purchased or rent could sync from iTunes easily to your devices. However, what if you are using Dell, HP, or Lenovo; what if you want to differ from your friends, and trying to use Galaxy S3 and Blackberry; what if your next dreaming tablets is not iPad, but Surface Pro; what if you want Nexus 4, Lumia 920 over iPhone. Apple wants people to use as many products from them so they created such a platform and videos from their iTunes store being DRM protected. But we are "the gamer, the fashion hunter, the page turner", we always want more than a single brand products. We want things to be easy, convenient, fascinating, and colorful. We want iTunes videos being played on every device.
Here is a how-to:
1. Download and install Tune4mac iTunes Video Converter Platinum, which could remove DRM from iTunes videos purchases and rentals;
2. Launch the program, iTunes would be automatically opened, and then click "Add" button, your purchased or rent movies would be listed in the popup window;
3. Choose the movie you want to be converted, and press "Profile" to set a format. Generally, the best default setting for your movie is the "same as source".
Or else, you can choose a format coordinate with your device, and set parameters under the "Profile Setting" on the right, such as Video Size, Video Codec, Video Bitrate, etc.
4. Click "Convert" button to start the conversion.
